Local government officials across Metro Manila lauded Taguig City’s breast cancer program during a Department of Health-organized study tour.
The city’s “Ating Dibdibin” initiative, a 2024 Galing Pook awardee, showcases an integrated model for early detection and free treatment.
The event included presentations and site visits, highlighting how the program reduces financial barriers while promoting survivorship.
Thirty patient navigators from Metro Manila joined the June 10 tour, with a second batch of LGUs scheduled to follow next month.
