CAMP BGEN VICENTE LIM— Police Brigadier General Jack L. Wanky officially took over as the new Regional Director of the Police Regional Office Calabarzon (PRO 4A) during a formal turnover ceremony on June 20, 2025.
Wanky replaced PBGen Paul Kenneth T. Lucas, who served for nearly two years and is now assigned as Deputy Regional Director for Administration of the NCR Police Office. The event featured the ceremonial handover of the regional flag and inventory books.
In his farewell speech, Lucas thanked his team and affirmed his commitment to serve with integrity in his new role. He also expressed confidence in Wanky’s ability to sustain the progress of PRO CALABARZON.
PNP Chief PGen Nicolas D. Torre III, represented by PLTGen Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., led the event and emphasized the need for unity, accountability, and modernization among police ranks.
Wanky, a member of PNPA Class of 1992, vowed to intensify anti-crime, anti-drug, and anti-insurgency campaigns while promoting professionalism and stakeholder engagement throughout the region.
