Kylie Padilla admitted feeling emotional over her limited appearance in the upcoming “Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre,” as her character Amihan remains a spirit.
In an interview with “24 Oras,” Kylie described the opening scene as “bittersweet,” saying it hurts to see her original co-stars Glaiza De Castro, Gabbi Garcia, and Sanya Lopez together without her.
“I’m heartbroken every time I see my three sisters without Amihan,” she said.
Kylie exited the 2016 reboot of “Encantadia” after an unexpected pregnancy.
“I worked really hard for people to like my version of Amihan. At the height of it, I got pregnant. I didn’t know how else to handle it,” Kylie continued.
While her co-stars congratulated her, she said they never talked about her sudden departure, afraid that there might have been disappointment.
Despite this, she hopes to reunite with them onscreen someday.
“I feel like I still have a chance to make it up. I dream of seeing us complete again, with Amihan alive,” she added.
“Sang’gre,” a spinoff of the hit GMA fantasy series, stars Bianca Umali, Faith Da Silva, Kelvin Miranda, and Angel Guardian as the new “brilyante” guardians.
