Host-actress Gabbi Garcia has revealed that portraying a lead role in a Girls’ Love (GL) project is one of her dream roles.
“Ako, dream role ko, hindi pa ako nakakapag-GL… Girls’ Love. I haven’t done that,” Garcia said in a recent interview.
Known for her roles in series like Encantadia and Unbreak My Heart, Garcia said she views acting as a constant process of growth and reinvention.
“As an actor, it’s constantly reinventing yourself in all the roles that you’re going to portray, kasi siyempre hindi pwedeng pare-parehas,” she said.
“Actually that’s challenging, for example you get so much projects na ito ‘yung genre, so you have to constantly reinvent yourself.”
Garcia’s interest in taking on a GL role reflects the growing demand for inclusive and representative stories in Philippine entertainment.
