Secretary Jose Rizalino Acuzar handed over the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) flag to incoming Secretary Jose Ramon Aliling on Monday at the DHSUD Central Office in Quezon City.
Aliling, who previously served as DHSUD undersecretary, is returning with a strengthened resolve to help shape inclusive, resilient and well-planned communities for Filipinos across the country, the department said in a social media post.

Acuzar, who was named Presidential Adviser for Pasig River Development, expressed full confidence in the ability of his successor.
The smooth transition at DHSUD embodies respect, continuity and a unified vision for a stronger, more progressive Bagong Pilipinas, the department said.
