Disney Cruise Line and Marvel Comics have teamed up to release a special edition of Amazing Adventures #1, a 32-page collector’s comic featuring Spider-Man, the Avengers, and other Marvel characters set to appear onboard the upcoming Disney Adventure ship.
The limited-edition comic will be distributed exclusively to guests in their staterooms during select sailings of the Disney Adventure, which begins its inaugural season in December.
The issue is led by writer Alyssa Wong, known for Star Wars: Doctor Aphra and the 2022 Deadpool series. Cover art is by Filipino artist Leinil Francis Yu, who co-created Wave, the first Filipino Marvel Super Hero.
Disney and Marvel also revealed the comic’s cover art, showcasing characters including Captain America, Iron Man, Spider-Man and Thor—icons guests can expect to encounter during their cruise experience.
