Actress Sanya Lopez’s debut single “Hot Maria Clara” clinched the No. 1 spot on Spotify’s Viral 50 Philippines chart on Tuesday, June 10.
First released in 2022 under GMA Music, the song has made a big comeback online thanks to TikTok trends and fan videos that highlight its message about strong, confident Filipinas.

“Hot Maria Clara” is now part of a mix of trending songs on the chart, alongside Cup of Joe’s “Multo,” the old-school hit “Pretty Little Baby” by Connie Francis, BTS Jin’s “Don’t Say You Love Me,” and SB19’s latest track “DUNGKA!”
Upon its release, the track debuted at No. 3 on the iTunes Philippines chart and earned a feature on Spotify’s Fresh Finds Philippines playlist.
