Filipino folk-pop band Ben&Ben is set to headline the “AK @ 50 Benefit Concert” on July 8 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, celebrating the 50th anniversary of Caritas Philippines’ Alay Kapwa program.
The concert aims to raise funds for Alay Kapwa’s initiatives in poverty alleviation, disaster response, and community development.
Proceeds will support the program’s mission to encourage Filipinos to share resources and compassion with those in need.
Ben&Ben was recently named Alay Kapwa’s official ambassadors, a role that resonates with the band’s values.
Lead vocalist Miguel Benjamin shared that their mother’s work with Caritas Manila introduced them to the program early on, making this collaboration feel like “coming full circle.”
