Fresh from a sold-out two-night concert at the Philippine Arena, P-pop sensation SB19 will bring its electrifying performance to the Bicol Music Festival on June 14.
The chart-topping group, often dubbed the “Kings of P-pop,” will top a star-studded lineup featuring Korean actors Kim Won Shik and Kim Jisoo. The event at Legazpi Festival Grounds will also showcase performances by rising singer-songwriter Earl Agustin and local artists dwta and Fred Engay.
The festival represents a key initiative by the Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) and Live Nation Philippines (LNPH) to establish the country as a premier destination for concert tourism. By staging world-class performances in regional areas like Bicol, organizers aim to promote scenic locations as viable entertainment venues for both domestic and international audiences.
“By integrating large-scale concerts into local tourism circuits, we’re creating unforgettable experiences that also benefit local economies,” said Carlos L. Dominguez, TPB’s Chief Operating Officer. “It’s about culture, community, and showcasing our country’s talent and hospitality.”
The move comes as the Philippines seeks to capitalize on the growing global popularity of Filipino musical acts and the increasing demand for unique entertainment experiences among travelers.
