Streaming giant Netflix announced that the third season of the global hit series “Squid Game” will premiere on June 27.
On Tuesday, May 6, Netflix posted a teaser on its official social media accounts.
“It’s time to play the final games,” the post read.
Picking up where the action-packed second season left off, the upcoming season promises even more tension, betrayal, and life-or-death stakes.
Returning to the spotlight is Seong Gi-hun, portrayed by Lee Jung-jae, who now finds himself at the center of a new set of challenges following the events of Season 2.
Season two cast members Jo Yu-ri as Kim Jun-hee, Kang Ha-neul as Kang Dae-ho, Lee Byung-hun as the enigmatic Frontman, and Wi Ha-joon, reprising his role as Hwang Jun-ho, will also return.
“Squid Game” Season 3 will premiere on June 27 on Netflix.
