Hit Wattpad adaptation Ang Mutya ng Section E dropped its final episode last Friday, April 25, capping off a successful run with a message of gratitude from lead star Ashtine Olviga.
In a series of behind-the-scenes photos, Ashtine took to her Instagram on late Thursday, April 24, ahead of the finale to thank the people behind the success of the series and who made the show possible.
“I just want to thank everyone who has supported and loved us since our cast reveal. All glory to God, because everything that happened was through Him alone,” she wrote.

Produced by Studio Viva and based on the popular Wattpad story, Ang Mutya ng Section E gained a loyal and massive following among Gen Z audiences for its mix of campus romance, comedy, and coming-of-age themes since its release early this year. The series followed Jayjay, played by Ashtine, and her Section E classmates, lead by Andres Muhlach (Keifer) and Rabin Angeles (Yuri), as they navigated the high school life, friendships, and unexpected love.
The young actress then expressed her gratitude to Viva’s top executives, including Boss Vic del Rosario, for trusting her with the lead role. She also acknowledged director Ted Boborol, creative producer Iris Lee, and the entire crew for creating an encouraging set environment.
“Thank you for always providing a light and happy environment that allowed us to feel comfortable and be ourselves, sobrang laking tulong para magawa po namin lalo nang maayos ang trabaho namin,” she said.

She also gave a shoutout to her fellow cast members, stating their unexpected friendship made the experience even more memorable.
“Thank you sa unexpected bond and friendship na nabuo. Let’s all achieve our dreams together (yiee),” she added.
Ashtine didn’t also forget to give thanks to their fans for their continuous love and support towards them and the show.
“Thank you for helping us reach so many people and encouraging them to watch [Ang Mutya ng Section E]. Malaki ang pagod ng casts and prods at pinantayan ‘yun ng suporta ninyo. So, from the bottom of our hearts, maraming salamat po,” ended Ashtine.
