After months of waiting, fans of Korean series A Shop For Killers can now celebrate the news as the drama has been officially renewed for a second season.
Named one of The New York Times’ “Best International Shows,” the first season of A Shop For Killers followed college student Jian as she sought refuge in her childhood home, hunted by a group of highly skilled assassins. While fighting for her survival, Jian recalled important lessons from her uncle Jinman, who had mysteriously died, using them to navigate her perilous situation. As she faced danger, she rushed to uncover her uncle’s hidden past and understand why so many were eager to infiltrate her home and its extensive arsenal.
The second season will feature Lee Dong-wook as Jinman, a former mercenary, alongside Kim Hyejun as Jian, a college student on the run from some of the world’s deadliest assassins. The upcoming season will also introduce Japanese actor Masaki Okada and Hyunri. The returning creative team includes director Lee Kwon and writers Ji Hojin and Lee Kwon.
