‘Alyansa’ returns to vote-rich Bulacan for major rally

The administration-backed Senate slate, Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas, is set to hold a major campaign rally today, May 7, in Malolos City, Bulacan—one of the country’s most vote-rich provinces—to bolster support and promote economic and infrastructure growth under President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s leadership.

This will be Alyansa’s second campaign stop in Bulacan, following its February 28 rally in San Jose del Monte City, according to campaign manager and Navotas Rep. Toby Tiangco.

Malolos, the birthplace of the First Philippine Republic in 1899, remains a symbol of resilience and progress—values that Alyansa says align with its vision for national development.

With 2.17 million registered voters, Bulacan played a pivotal role in the 2022 elections, delivering over 1 million votes for the admin bets.

Tiangco emphasized the province’s influence, citing its rapid urbanization, industrial growth, and proximity to Metro Manila.

“Bulacan is a powerhouse and a gateway to progress,” Tiangco said. “Alyansa is committed to ensuring Bulakenyos benefit fully from national development.”

He highlighted infrastructure projects such as the North-South Commuter Railway, Bulacan International Airport, and expanded expressways as key drivers of investment and job creation—not just in Bulacan, but across Central Luzon.

Alyansa also pledged greater support for farmers, fisherfolk, and small businesses through increased funding, training, and access to technology. The coalition underscored its commitment to protecting local industries, particularly in food production, textiles, and construction.

To meet the needs of Bulacan’s growing population, Alyansa vowed to expand healthcare services by building more public hospitals, rural clinics, and specialized health programs, especially in underserved areas.

Education remains a priority, with promises of more scholarships, tech-voc training, and improved school facilities to prepare youth for future jobs.

The rally in Malolos is expected to serve as a strong reaffirmation of Alyansa’s platform of inclusive development and sustained economic growth.

“Bulacan is a pillar of progress. We’re here to build on that foundation and ensure every Bulakenyo shares in the benefits of development,” Tiangco said.

With its high voter turnout, Bulacan is expected to play a decisive role in the May 2025 elections.
