The Bureau of Immigration (BI) now accepts applications for 25 new Immigration Officer positions for deployment to at least two major international airports in the country.
“This recruitment supports the President’s call to professionalize and strengthen our border control efforts. We are opening our doors to qualified Filipinos who want to serve the country and help ensure that our ports of entry are secure, efficient, and welcoming,” BI chief Joel Anthony Viado said.
The recruits will be deployed to the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) and Mactan-Cebu International Airport (MCIA), two of the country’s busiest gateways.
The recruitment comes amid increasing international travel, requiring more trained personnel to ensure efficient processing of passengers while upholding national security.
