Housing czar Jose Ramon Aliling has partnered with one of the country’s top producers of socialized housing to deliver 35,656 housing units in the next two years.
He welcomed Raemulan Lands, Inc.’s (RLI) commitment to help the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) and its key shelter agencies boost the flagship housing program of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. dubbed as ‘Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino’ (4PH).
“This is a clear indication that the expansion of 4PH to horizontal developments is in the right track to rally more private partners to join the President’s program,” he said.
“With more partners expected to come in, we can produce more housing units faster,” Aliling added.
In a letter to the DHSUD, RLI chief executive officer Eileen Uy Doyle cited her full support to the government’s flagship housing program and the inclusion of horizontal developments.
Doyle immediately committed to deliver 35,656 housing units in the next two years.
“Your announcement last May 27 to include and prioritize horizontal developments as part of the 4PH Program has bolstered our commitment to continue with our company’s mission,” she said.
“As a matter of fact, we have already laid out our housing road map to be included in the government’s 4PH Program for the years 2025 to 2026, totalling 35,656 housing units,” Doyle added.
Construction is currently ongoing for several housing units by the RLI in Pampanga, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna and Rizal.
RLI has been recognized by Pag-IBIG Fund as a top developer nationwide for three consecutive years in 2020, 2021 and 2022, and has been awarded the highest number of socialized housing units taken out nationwide in 2022, 2023 and 2024 and in Metro Manila in 2024.
The DHSUD secretary said “we need to be more inclusive. We hear the clamor of the local government units and other partners for horizontal developments so that they can be more affordable.”
