Fashion finds its purpose

Penshoppe and HOPE stitch style into school-building mission

A new partnership between two homegrown names is turning everyday fashion into a force for good.

HOPE, the Philippines’ first certified B Corporation and a leading social impact organization, has partnered with fashion brand Penshoppe to launch a limited-edition apparel line aimed at supporting public school education.

The Penshoppe x HOPE Collection includes a range of wardrobe staples—polo shirts, t-shirts, pullover sweaters, hoodies, caps, and tote bags—designed to combine style and purpose. A portion of the proceeds from every purchase will help fund the construction of public school classrooms in underserved communities across the Philippines.

The collaboration is part of HOPE’s broader campaign, Generation HOPE, which focuses on scaling its impact through partnerships that turn everyday purchases into support for social development projects. The collection marks one of the initiative’s first major collaborations in the fashion sector.

“Fashion has the ability to inspire, to express, and to influence,” said HOPE founder Nanette Medved-Po. “Partnering with a major fashion brand like Penshoppe allows us to tap into that influence in a meaningful way, bringing purpose into people’s everyday purchases. We’re thrilled to be working together to make education more accessible to Filipino public school students.”

The collection features minimalist designs with subtle messaging that reflect the values of both brands, including confidence, optimism, and collective progress. Items such as the cropped pullover sweater and the crew graphic shirt offer consumers the opportunity to wear their support for education reform.

Alice Liu, president and CEO of Golden ABC, the company behind the Penshoppe Group, said the campaign aligns with the brand’s long-standing commitment to using fashion to inspire and contribute to social causes.

“The Penshoppe Group, through its brands, has always endeavored fashion experiences that inspire greatness. We’re motivated to do well as a business so we can do even more good for society, which is why we’re grateful to be working with HOPE to make a difference in the education sector,” Liu said.

The Penshoppe x HOPE Collection is now available in stores and online.
