Student programs expand nationwide to boost youth leadership

Globe is broadening its support for Filipino students through new initiatives aimed at developing leadership skills, encouraging passion projects, and preparing the youth for a rapidly evolving world.

The company said students today face increasing pressure to balance academics, digital engagement, and personal development. In response, Globe is offering programs that go beyond connectivity to empower students through mentorship, rewards, grants, and internships.

Among its key efforts is the Globe Community Builders Program, which encourages student participation in projects that benefit their schools and communities. Through the GlobeOne app, students can access daily rewards and essentials under Student Rewards. Those with innovative ideas can submit proposals through Globe Student Grants, with selected projects receiving Globe’s support and mentorship to bring their concepts to life.

Internship opportunities are also available for students seeking early professional experience.

In May, Globe’s Marketing Youth Culture department launched a nationwide campaign inspired by Marvel Studios’ Thunderbolts, where student leaders were invited to block screenings in Metro Manila, Nueva Ecija, Cagayan de Oro, and Davao. The event served as a platform for students to engage with Globe mentors and explore opportunities within the Community Builders Program.

“Just like the heroes we see on screen, every student has the potential to rise, lead, and make a difference,” said Andrew James Lim, lead for Marketing Youth Culture at Globe.

The company said it remains committed to helping students discover their interests, pursue leadership roles, and prepare for the future by being a steady partner in their growth.
