Tommy Hilfiger has released the Hilfiger Sailing Collection, a 22-piece capsule for Spring 2025 that revisits the brand’s nautical roots with updated archival designs and technical materials. The collection blends maritime elements with prep style, marking 40 years of Hilfiger’s sailing influence.
“The open water and the yachting lifestyle have always carried a sense of freedom and adventure,” the brand said in a statement. “Since the early ‘90s, our collections have captured the spirit of the sea, embracing maritime influences and blending relaxed sailing-inspired design with timeless prep. This collection is a tribute to that passion, a modern interpretation of our nautical heritage that remains true to the pioneering spirit of the brand.”
Inspired by sailing on the Hudson River, the collection includes regatta jackets, striped tees, fleece hoodies, and a reversible women’s deck coat. Nautical motifs like ropes, pulleys, and signal flags are incorporated alongside a red-and-green color palette.
Hilfiger’s connection to sailing extends to its recent sponsorship of the U.S. SailGP Team, furthering its ties to competitive sailing since 2003. The brand’s iconic flag logo, originally based on maritime symbols, continues to reflect its coastal influence.
