MANILA Mayor Honey Lacuna officially joins the ranks of the city’s more than 200,000 senior citizens as she turned 60 on Tuesday (May 6).
At the regular Monday flag-raising of the Manila City Hall, Lacuna was surprised by city officials and employees with greetings, flowers and gifts on the eve of here 60th birthday.

The event was highlighted by the presentation to her of a giant senior citizen card issued by the Office of Senior Citizens’ Affairs (OSCA) headed by Elinor Jacinto.
Lacuna said her simple birthday wish was for her to be able to continue serving her constituents and to carry out all the programs lined up for their benefits.
