Ayala warns public vs. phishing emails

Ayala Corp. warned the public about phishing messages sent via email from fake Ayala addresses.

Similar emails, purportedly from the Ayala “Vendor Coordination Team,” are inviting suppliers to “register as a partner or vendor/supplier to supply materials or provide services for our infrastructure and developmental projects.”

These emails ask interested parties to send their information, including company profiles and contact persons, to email addresses using the domain name ayala-corp.com.

Ayala said in a statement is not associated with the individuals or groups behind this scheme, emphasizing that its only official domain name is ayala.com. The company is taking steps to have the ayala-corp.com domain name blocked.

Ayala urged the public to be discerning and to avoid engaging with such scam emails, noting that it follows an established protocol to engage with prospective suppliers.
