Home grown diner named Fast Food Chain of the Year at VP Choice Awards

Mang Inasal was recently hailed Fast Food Chain of the Year at the 6th VP Choice Awards held at The Blue Leaf Cosmopolitan in Quezon City.

“To be voted Fast Food Chain of the Year by the people themselves is the highest honor we can receive. Every vote is a reminder that we are part of our customers’ everyday lives, and we will continue serving them with the same passion they have shown in making us feel truly appreciated,” said Mang Inasal president Mike V. Castro.

Competing among six of the country’s top fast-food chains, Mang Inasal emerged as the public and industry favorite.

Adding to the celebration, brand endorser Fyang Smith was also recognized as Promising Female Star of the Year during the event.

Organized by Village Pipol Magazine, the VP Choice Awards honor excellence in entertainment, business, tech, travel, and lifestyle, with winners chosen through public online voting and editorial deliberation.

In the 2025 Brand Finance report, the brand was named the Strongest Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) in the Philippines, ranking 7th overall among the country’s strongest brands, and likewise, placed 25th in the Philippines’ 50 Most Valuable Brands, second only to Jollibee among QSRs.

In May, Mang Inasal won one Silver and two Bronze awards at the 12th Asia-Pacific Stevie® Awards, following two Golds and one Silver at the 60th Anvil Awards earlier this year.
