Philippine Airlines (PAL) and AirAsia Philippines have launched seat sales to attract more passengers.
PAL’s Independence Day Seat Sale, available from June 2 to 15, offers discounted fares on select domestic and international routes. One-way economy base fares for domestic flights start at P219, while roundtrip economy base fares for international flights start at $45.
Meanwhile, AirAsia Philippines’ “Fiesta Promo” offers one-way base fares for domestic flights from as low as P208. The sale, running from June 2 to 15, 2025, is for travel between June 2 and Nov. 30, 2025. Featured destinations include Bacolod, Kalibo, Iloilo, and Tacloban.
“Part of AirAsia DNA is all about giving great opportunities to travel,” said Steve Dailisan, AirAsia Philippines’ head of communications and corporate affairs.
“After Kalibo and Caticlan (Boracay), this month we’re putting the spotlight on Tacloban with special sale fares, one of our key destinations, not only because of its local festivities but also because it holds a special place in the hearts of many balikbayans and Filipinos to reconnect with home in Eastern Visayas,” he said.
