RESERVIST UNIT.

Manila Electric Company (Meralco) and the Armed Forces of the Philippines Reserve Command (AFPRESCOM) sign a memorandum of agreement (MOA) to form a military reservist unit to further strengthen disaster preparedness and energy resiliency. The agreement paves the way for the creation of the Meralco AFP Affiliated Reserve Unit that will allow the military to tap into Meralco’s specialized skills and expertise in power distribution and infrastructure to energize critical facilities to strengthen the country’s defense capabilities.
