MIDDLE-INCOME TALKS.

Department of Economy, Planning and Development (Depdev) Secretary Arsenio Balisacan, Department of Foreign Affairs Secretary Enrique Manalo, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Morocco to the United Nations (UN) Omar Hilale and UN Undersecretary-General Armida Salsiah Alisjahbana lead the opening of the High-Level Conference of Middle-Income Countries (MICs) on April 28, 2025 in Makati City. Balisacan emphasized the importance of ‘mainstreaming efficient green transitions, fostering resilience and harnessing innovation as new frontiers for growth’ to sustain and accelerate the progress of MICs.
