The Department of Transportation (DOTr) witnesses the signing of the MRT-7 operations and maintenance agreement between San Miguel Corp. (SMC) and Korea Railroad Corp. (KORAIL) on April 22, 2025. Once the 22-kilometer rail project is completed, the travel time from Quezon City to Bulacan, will be cut down to 35 minutes from two to three hours and can serve up to 300,000 passengers daily.
