ECONOMIC MEETING.

National Economic Development Authority Secretary and Economic Development Group (EDG) vice chair Arsenio Balisacan attends the EDG meeting on April 23, 2025 at the Department of Finance office in Manila. The meeting tackled developments on rice and pork prices and updates on the implementation of Administrative Order No. 23, s. 2024, which establishes the Pre-border Technical Verification and Cross-border Electronic Invoicing (PTVCEI) system to strengthen customs processes and ensure fair trade practices. Discussions also covered the progress of the country’s nuclear program and active transport initiatives.
