Hepmil Philippines, a digital advertising and creator economy company, named Joanna Chan Mojica chairperson of the board.
Mojica brings over 30 years of leadership experience in the Philippine advertising industry to the fast-growing company. Hepmil Philippines works with clients such as Jollibee, Unilever, Unilab, CDO, and Century Pacific Food, as well as agency partners Publicis Groupe and GroupM.
Mojica will advise Hepmil Media Group chief executive Karl Mak and work closely with Erwin Razon, general manager of Hepmil Philippines. The appointment reflects Hepmil’s aim to be a leader in the Philippines’ expanding digital advertising and creator market.
Mojica will also continue in her roles as president of AmplifAI Media Services, a position she has held since July 2024, and as a shareholder of Metropolis Evolving Media Solutions, where she has been since 2018.
Her previous experience includes positions as Connexion head at Unilab Inc., chief media officer at Dentsu Aegis Network Philippines, chief executive of Starcom MediaVest Group, investment head of GroupM and media director roles at MindShare and J. Walter Thompson.
“Hepmil Philippines has been our group’s standout growth market since we entered as a startup in 2018 through PGAG,” said Mak in a statement. He said Mojica has been a mentor and advisor to the company.
Mojica said she believes Hepmil Philippines is well-positioned to bridge the gap between brands and creators.
Hepmil Philippines said its workforce is expected to exceed 100 full-time employees by end-2025. The company’s collaborations include award-winning campaigns such as the Generation Joy program with Jollibee at the 60th Anvil Awards.
“Joanna brings unmatched expertise and a legacy of leadership to our team,” said Razon.
