Security Bank Corp. named as the Best SME Bank-Philippines at the Global SME Banking Innovation Awards 2025 by The Digital Banker.
The Digital Banker cited Security Bank’s support for small and medium enterprises (SMEs), highlighting its “innovative solutions, exceptional client experience, and solid financial performance.”
Security Bank launched its business banking segment (BBS) in 2022. The bank said its BBS loan portfolio has since grown 2.7 times.
In 2024, the bank offered a “BusinessPlus Fully Loaded Promo” with free bank-to-bank transfers. It also launched business insurance and the “Business Elite” program for clients maintaining a minimum 2 million pesos ($35,500) average daily balance.
The Digital Banker also recognized the bank’s data-driven, multichannel approach and risk management.
