Allianz has announced its renewed inclusion in the prestigious Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) for 2024, underscoring the company’s ongoing commitment to sustainability and resilience.
In the 2024 S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA), which served as the basis for the DJSI, Allianz achieved an impressive score of 89 out of 100, positioning the company among the top sustainable insurers worldwide.
“The CSA score and DJSI membership validate the work we’ve done across all functions and encourage us to continue refining our strategies to improve further,” said Allianz’s chief sustainability officer Emilia Macarie.
In the Philippines, Allianz PNB Life has made community investment a central focus. In 2024, the company partnered with Scholars of Sustenance Food Rescue PH to combat hunger and reduce the environmental impact of food waste.
This collaboration resulted in 732,280kg of food being rescued, preventing 441,111kg of CO2 emissions and delivering meals across 115 communities.
Likewise, Allianz PNB Life’s partnership with the Moran Foundation has advanced financial literacy, reaching 480 students and 120 teachers through Futsal programs.
Looking forward to 2025, Allianz PNB Life plans to expand its community engagement, with an emphasis on financial literacy, environmental protection, and overall well-being.
