Bataan 3rd District Rep. Gila Garcia extended full support and congratulations to the recipients from the province of this year’s 50th Gawad Saka Awards.
Bataan acknowledges the achievements of its outstanding farmers and fisherfolk through the Gawad Saka Awards, a national recognition for excellence in agriculture and fisheries, she said.
Among this year’s awardees were Montey’s Food Enterprise, owned by Ester Domingo of Morong which was conferred the Outstanding Agricultural Entrepreneur in micro enterprise and Amanda’s Marine Products, owned by Amanda Batad of Balanga City which copped the Outstanding Agricultural Entrepreneur trophy in medium fnterprise.
Garcia said their achievements not only reflected their dedication and perseverance, but also serve as an inspiration for more Bataenos to take pride and embrace the agricultural sector.
