Tourist arrivals in Boracay reached 222,952 in May 2025, according to data from the Malay-Boracay Tourism Office.
The figure, recorded from May 1 to May 31, reflects the island’s continued appeal as a top travel destination. Of the total, 198,534 were domestic tourists, while more than 22,000 were foreign visitors.

The surge in tourist traffic coincided with the celebration of Love Boracay 2025 and Fiesta de Obreros on May 1, two major events that drew large crowds and showcased the island’s vibrant culture and environmental advocacy.
Tourism stakeholders welcomed the high turnout, noting its positive impact on the local economy and hospitality industry.
