Two weather systems will continue to trigger rains in Luzon and Mindanao, according to PAGASA (Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration).
The state weather agency said Ilocos Region, Batanes, Babuyan Islands, Abra, Zambales, Bataan and Palawan will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the southwest monsoon or “hanging habagat.”
Cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to an intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) will prevail over Zamboanga Peninsula, SOCCSKSARGEN, BARMM, Davao Occidental, Davao del Sur and Davao Oriental.
Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the southwest monsoon.
The rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms because of localized thunderstorms.
