Jessica Sanchez is set to return to the “America’s Got Talent” stage nearly two decades after first competing as a 10-year-old contestant.
The Filipino-Mexican singer, who joined the talent show’s inaugural season in 2006, will appear in the upcoming 19th season of AGT, which premieres May 27 on NBC.
Sanchez was eliminated in the semifinals of her original run but later found mainstream success as the runner-up in the 11th season of “American Idol.”

In a recent social media post, Sanchez reflected on how her first AGT experience helped shape her path.
“Being 10 years old on AGT played such a massive role in me believing in something bigger than myself,” she wrote. “What a huge blessing it is to be able to come back and chase after my dreams again after 20 years. Can’t wait to see what God has in store for me ❤️”
Details about her upcoming performance remain under wraps, but her return has already stirred excitement among fans and fellow artists online.
Sanchez, now 28, has since released original music and performed internationally.
