Kia PH reports 33% growth in 2024 sales

Kia Philippines, a subsidiary of ACMobility, said it sold 6,692 vehicles in 2024, up 33 percent year-on-year on the back of strong demand for Sonet, the brand’s B-SUV model.

The brand reported an all-time high of 805 units sold in a single month since its acquisition by the Ayala Mobility arm.

“Surpassing 800-unit sales in a single month is a testament to the hard work of our team and dealer partners, and it highlights the momentum we’ve built in the market with models that address the aspirations of Filipino motorists. As we continue to lead a movement that inspires, we are excited to carry this success into 2025 and beyond,” said ACMobility head of automotive retail distribution Antonio Zarqa.

Kia credited the success to the growing popularity of the Kia Sonet, which has quickly become a dominant force in the entry-level B-SUV segment. With a 23 percent market share, the Sonet ranks second in its class, accounting for nearly one in four subcompact SUVs sold in the Philippines.

Sonet sold 3,823 units in just seven months, making it the fourth best-selling subcompact SUV of the year and the best-selling new model for Kia in the Philippines.
