■ New information to be revealed continuously through the teaser page and official social media channels
On Monday, Smilegate, the developer of “Crossfire,” “Lost Ark,” and “Epic Seven,” has announced it has launched a global teaser page for its upcoming MMORPG “LORDNINE” (developed by NX3GAMES), ahead of its release in the Asian regions including the Philippines, Thailand, and Singapore.
“LORDNINE” features a dynamic combat system that allows players to freely switch between weapons and skills during combat, enabling strategic adaptation to each battle scenario. Its highly flexible progression system lets players customize their growth paths and skill attributes. Players can also choose from over 65 unique classes by combining more than 60 ability tags, offering innovative systems that add new excitement to the core of traditional MMORPG gameplay. The game is scheduled for official release this year and will be available on both PC and mobile platforms.
The newly released teaser page showcases LORDNINE’s captivating world through a cinematic trailer, heightening anticipation for the game. Additional information will be revealed leading up to the launch through the teaser page, Facebook, YouTube, and other official social media channels.
Following its successful launch in Korea and Taiwan in July last year, “LORDNINE” is now expanding its service across Asia. The game topped Google Play and major app stores within just six days of its release in Korea, receiving overwhelming support from MMORPG fans. LORDNINE also demonstrated its commercial success and quality by winning the Best Game Award at the “2024 Korea Game Awards” and the “Best Immersive MMORPG” award at Sensor Tower’s APAC Award 2024.
Smilegate plans to provide content tailored to local playstyles while building an open economic environment both inside and outside the game. In addition to the in-game trading post, the company also plans to introduce a new system that allows players to directly trade rare items, mounts, costumes, and other in-game assets through a dedicated external platform.
A Smilegate representative commented, “We’re excited to bring “LORDNINE,” which has already received great support in Korea and Taiwan, to more players across Asia. We look forward to delivering new experiences and fun through localized content and optimized operations in each region.”
More information will be gradually shared through the official LORDNINE
