Filipino K-idol JL joins Korea Dairy Committee campaign in Manila

Filipino K-pop idol JL, a member of the global group AHOF, is lending his star power to promote Korean dairy in the Philippines as part of the Korea Dairy Committee’s “I LIKE IT. KOREA MILK” campaign.

The campaign, which highlights the quality and variety of Korean dairy products, will be held for the first time in the Philippines with a two-day event at Robinsons Magnolia Mall on June 14 and 15. It features five Korean companies—Seoul Milk, Yonsei Milk, Maeil Dairies, Binggrae, and Lotte Wellfood.

As the campaign’s ambassador, JL will visit the booths of the participating dairy brands, personally taste and experience a range of products, and help introduce them to local consumers. The event aims to connect with young Filipinos, many of whom are fans of K-culture, by offering interactive and accessible experiences with Korean dairy.

JL will also participate in the Manila Foods and Beverages Expo 2025 at the World Trade Center, continuing efforts to boost international interest in Korean dairy exports.

With additional support from Philippine influencers, artists, and media, the Korea Dairy Committee hopes to strengthen awareness and appeal of Korean dairy products across Southeast Asia, starting with the Filipino market.
