Sydney, Australia — The Asian Consulting Group (ACG) proudly concludes its successful Oceania Roadshow in Australia and New Zealand, reinforcing its commitment to positioning the Philippines as a stable, sustainable, and strategic investment hub in Southeast Asia.
The multi-city roadshow brought ACG Founder and Chief Tax Advisor, Mon Abrea, together with key stakeholders, including the Philippine Consulate General in Melbourne, the Australia Philippines Business Council (APBC), and members of the Filipino-Australian business community, to strengthen bilateral economic ties and promote new investment opportunities in the Philippines.
In Melbourne, ACG led high-level discussions with Consul Ralph Vincent Abarquez and Consul Jan Sherwin Wenceslao, emphasizing the important role of the Filipino community in Victoria and the growing appeal of the Philippines for Australian companies seeking sustainable growth. Abrea also met with APBC Victoria Vice President Janeca Gross to explore collaborative initiatives and pave the way for future trade and investment partnerships.
One of the highlights of the roadshow was Abrea’s interview with SBS Filipino’s Edinel Magtibay in Sydney, where he discussed the country’s strengthened investor confidence, its young and skilled workforce, and recent reforms promoting environmental responsibility and ease of doing business.
ACG also marked a major milestone with the launch of its satellite office in Sydney, in partnership with the APBC, reinforcing its long-term commitment to supporting Australian firms and global Filipinos interested in expanding or relocating operations to the Philippines.
To build on this momentum, ACG is set to roll out a series of Investment and Tax Briefings in October 2025, covering Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, and Perth. These sessions—organized in collaboration with APBC and key government agencies of the Philippines—will provide timely updates on tax reforms, regulatory developments, and practical guidance for investors navigating the Philippine market.
Looking ahead, ACG is in active talks with the Australian-New Zealand Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ANZCHAM) to further deepen regional engagement and bolster economic cooperation between Oceania and Southeast Asia.
“At ACG, we don’t just give tax advice—we walk you down the red carpet as you experience the ease of doing business in the Philippines,” said Harvard-trained tax expert Mon Abrea. “We are proud to serve as a bridge between economies and communities, working toward a more inclusive and sustainable future for all.”
Up next is the Europe Roadshow, where Abrea will continue engaging with foreign investors in key cities across the region—starting in Milan, Berlin, Madrid, and Paris, and culminating in Warsaw and London this June, where he will join Director General Theo Panga of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) for a joint investment mission to attract European companies seeking sustainable expansion in Asia.
This Oceania Roadshow forms part of ACG’s global campaign to attract foreign direct investments, promote sustainable business practices, and prepare for a larger Investment Mission in September–October 2025.
