Former Sexbomb dancer and TV host Sugar Mercado is set to represent the Philippines at the Mrs. Universe 2025 pageant.
On Saturday, May 31, Sugar shared that she still could not believe her new role as a beauty queen despite being a mother.
She also extended her thanks to those who supported her, including talent manager Wilbert Tolentino, fellow public figures Herlene “Hipon Girl” Budol and Madam Inutz, and beauty queen Mary Letim.

Sugar, who rose to fame as a member of the all-female dance group Sexbomb Girls in the early 2000s, has since become a mother of two.
Now stepping into the world of pageantry, she says her faith and her loved ones gave her the strength to pursue her dream.
The Mrs. Universe 2025 competition is set to take place in October, with delegates from around the world celebrating the achievements and advocacies of married women.
