Born Nora Cabaltera Villamayor on May 21, 1953, in Iriga City, Camarines Sur, Aunor rose from humble beginnings to become one of the Philippines’ most celebrated and influential artists. Known as Ate Guy, Aunor’s career spanned over five decades, with more than 170 films to her name. She is widely regarded as the greatest Filipino actress of all time, recognized for her emotional depth and her ability to evoke truth through her performances.

Aunor’s career boasts numerous milestones, including a Grand Slam in 1990 for her role in Andrea, Paano Ba Maging Isang Ina?, making her the first actress to sweep all five major Philippine film awards. Her international acclaim includes a Best Actress award at the Cairo International Film Festival for The Flor Contemplacion Story (1995) and additional Best Actress honors at the Asia Pacific Screen Awards and the Asian Film Awards for Thy Womb (2012).

In 2022, she was conferred the Order of National Artist, the Philippines’ highest cultural distinction, and this year, she is set to receive the Presidential Medal of Merit posthumously, recognizing her extraordinary impact on Philippine culture and the arts.

The Superstar Collection includes three films: Beloved (1985, directed by Leroy Salvador), in which Aunor stars alongside Hilda Koronel in a gripping drama about friendship, betrayal, and moral choices; The Flor Contemplacion Story (1995, directed by Joel Lamangan), one of her most critically acclaimed roles, which portrays an overseas Filipino worker fighting for justice; and Mananambal (2024, directed by Adolfo Alix Jr.), Aunor’s final film appearance, co-starring Bianca Umali, which blends horror and drama to explore mysticism in Siquijor.

Tickets for the Superstar Collection are priced at P150 each, with screenings available in SM Cinemas, Robinsons Movieworld, Fisher Mall Cinemas, and Gateway Mall.
