Netflix has unveiled the first official teaser of the second season of “Wednesday.”
On late Wednesday, April 23, the streaming giant posted the clip, also confirming that the hit horror-comedy will premiere in two parts. The first part will be streaming on Aug. 6, while the other part will follow on Sept. 3.
The teaser shows Jenna Ortega’s Wednesday Addams navigating an airport as she heads back to Nevermore Academy, her haunted home away from home. Morticia Addams, voiced off-screen, remarks, “This is the first time you’ve ever willingly returned to a school. How does it feel?”

“Like returning to the scene of the crime… I already know where the bodies are buried,” Wednesday replied.
The preview also teases familiar faces and new threats. Enid Sinclair, played by Emma Myers, welcomes her best friend back, while Tyler (Hunter Doohan), Wednesday’s ex and Hyde monster nemesis, makes a brooding return. Uncle Fester (Fred Armisen), psychic visions, and monstrous encounters round out the teaser.
“You don’t have to worry about me, Mother… I do my best work in the dark,” Wednesday said.
Ortega leads the returning cast alongside Myers, Doohan, Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia, and Luis Guzmán as Gomez Addams.
