Balikbayan Heartthrob solidifies Filipino connection with Sparkle signing
Anthony Constantino, the 22-year-old Filipino-American model and social media influencer known as the “Balikbayan Heartthrob,” officially signed with Sparkle on April 8. In his heartfelt speech during the signing, Constantino expressed his gratitude to GMA Network for their continued support.
“First and foremost, maraming-maraming salamat. I’m just so proud and thankful to be part of the Kapuso family,” Constantino said. “Thank you to Miss Annette, Miss Joy for believing in me and seeing the potential in me. I’m just very excited to make everybody proud.”

Raised in California by Filipino parents, Constantino has built a successful career in international modeling, working with agencies such as Otto Models, DT Model Management, and Main Models Philippines. His partnership with Sparkle strengthens his connection to his Filipino roots, and he is excited to engage local audiences with his charm and rising star power.
The signing ceremony was attended by key figures, including GMA Senior Vice President Attorney Annette Gozon-Valdes, Sparkle First Vice President Joy Marcelo, and Main Models Managing Director Michael Labuguen.
Gozon-Valdes welcomed Constantino to the GMA family, commenting on his appeal beyond his looks, while Marcelo praised his positive reputation. Labuguen, who has worked closely with him, shared his excitement for this new opportunity.
