Celebrating women at the City of Firsts

Araneta City is marking International Women’s Month with a series of activities from March 8 to 16, aiming to uplift women through art, business, and fitness.

The event will begin on March 8, International Women’s Day, at Gateway Mall 2, showcasing artworks by women. The exhibit will run until March 13 and will be complemented by a Female-led Forum to highlight women’s voices in various fields.

At Farmers Plaza, attendees can visit the #SeeHerHustle Creations Fair from March 8 to 13, where female entrepreneurs will present their crafts and business ideas. A series of workshops will also be held to support aspiring businesswomen.

Gateway Mall 1 will have the POP QC Women’s Month Fair from March 12 to 16, focusing on female-led businesses with the theme #WomenInBusiness.

Araneta City is also promoting digital involvement with an online campaign from March 8 to 11, asking people to support women using the hashtag #HerTimeIsNow.

The Araneta Run Club will organize the #MarchForHer event on March 9, advocating for women’s rights, empowerment, and community unity through an inclusive run.

Through these initiatives, Araneta City aims to highlight the achievements and resilience of women while advocating for gender equality.
