Actress and social media star Filipina actress Ivana Alawi voiced concern over her Los Angeles property after it narrowly escaped the deadly wildfires sweeping through Southern California.
“Outside our house rn. Pray for LA,” Ivana shared on her Instagram Story on Saturday, Jan. 11, along with a photo showing flames dangerously close to her residence. It remains unclear if the 28-year-old actress is currently in the U.S.
Ivana, who celebrated her birthday on Christmas Day, also posted on Facebook showing another image of the fire approaching her home, saying it was nearly engulfed by the massive fire.
Other Filipino celebrities and Filipino-American residents have also been affected, raising concerns among fans and supporters.
Several Hollywood stars, including Jeff Bridges, Sir Anthony Hopkins, Mel Gibson, Paris Hilton, Billy Crystal, Adam Brody, and Milo Ventimiglia, have reportedly lost their homes in the wildfires.

Despite the ongoing danger, Ivana and other residents continue to ask for prayers for everyone’s safety and for the immediate containment of the fire.
The 2025 Los Angeles wildfire is one of the most severe disasters to hit Southern California, causing significant damage to properties, the environment, and the lives of thousands. The fire began in early January, driven by extremely dry conditions and strong Santa Ana winds.
