Pia Wurtzbach receives recognition from JCI Philippines for volunteer work

Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach has been known for her philanthropic efforts for several organizations like LoveYourself.ph, which recently staged a charity gala with her help. Because of these, non-profit organization JCI Philippines has recognized her as one of the 2024 The Outstanding Young Men (TOYM) awardees.

Wurtzbach received recognition in Humanitarian Service and Social Work, joining the roster of TOYM awardees with individuals such as Zig Dulay, Jenica Beatriz Dizon-Mountford, Billie Crystal Dumaliang, Roscinto Ian C. Lumbres, Venazir Martinez, Jose Gabriel Mejia, Pia Ranada, Dennis Umali, and Brent Andrew Viray.

LoveYourself.ph took the time to congratulate Wurtzbach on its social media pages.

“Your dedication to creating a better world continues to inspire countless individuals. We, at LoveYourself, are beyond proud of you, Pia!” the organization said in its post’s caption.

Established in 1959, the TOYM award recognizes men and women who have, through their dedication, significantly contributed to the welfare of others and the advancement of their fields.
