Tingog tops Tangere party-list survey ahead of May 12 polls

TINGOG party-list led by Reps. Yedda Romualdez and Jude Acidre topped the latest Tangere pre-election survey, earning 5.75 percent of voter preference nationwide.

The survey result places Tingog as the leading party-list group just weeks ahead of the May 12, 2025 national elections and local elections.

The poll, conducted April 22 to 26 via a mobile-based platform with 2,400 respondents across the country, reflected growing public trust in Tingog’s consistent and community-grounded approach to public service.

The party-list received particularly strong support from the Visayas region, and is one of five groups projected to secure two seats in the next Congress.

“We are humbled by this expression of support,” Romualdez said. “It affirms the values we have stood by from the very beginning—being present, listening to our people, and making government services more accessible to those who need them most.”

Tingog attributed the encouraging result to its steady presence in underserved communities, notably its implementation of the Kalusugan Karavan and other outreach initiatives, as well as the growing network of Tingog Centers which are local help desks designed to link citizens with essential government assistance.

“Our mission has always been clear: to ensure that no Filipino is left behind,” Acidre said. “We believe that good governance begins with listening and is fulfilled through action. Nakikinig kami. Nagsisilbi kami (We listen, we serve). That is what defines our work.”  Maricel V. Cruz

The Tangere research reflected a dynamic electoral field, but Tingog’s sustained rise underscored a growing public appreciation for its brand of leadership—practical, grounded, and responsive.

“This is not merely a political milestone,” added Romualdez. “It is a reminder of our responsibility to serve with integrity and compassion. Every Filipino deserves to be heard, to be helped, and to be reached—wherever they are.”

As the campaign period enters its final stretch, Tingog emphasized that its focus remained unchanged: to bridge the gap between people and public service, especially in areas long neglected by national programs.

“We will continue to serve with focus and purpose,” said Acidre. “Our work in Congress and in communities will always reflect the voices of the regions and the realities of everyday Filipinos. This is, and will remain, the heart of Tingog’s mission.”
