Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Gen. Nicolas Torre III said Tuesday law enforcement authorities are already conducting a manhunt against persons of interest identified in the killing of 63-year-old Mauricio Pulhin.
Pulhin, an employee of the House of Representatives, was brutally shot during his daughter’s birthday party on Sunday in Brgy. Commonwealth, Quezon City.
In a chance interview with reporters, Torre said the PNP is following a lead to apprehend individuals connected to the killing. Eyewitnesses said two men were responsible for the attack.
“Investigation is ongoing, manhunt operation is ongoing, and we hope to resolve this case as soon as possible,” Torre said during his visit to Ramon Magsaysay High School.
The PNP has been withholding names at this point while the investigation is ongoing.
