The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Monday reported monitoring a low pressure area (LPA) over the coastal waters of Concepcion, Iloilo.
According to the state weather bureau, this is “unlikely” to develop into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours.
Meanwhile, easterlies will continue to affect the eastern section of Luzon.
The Visayas, Bicol Region, Romblon, Quezon, and Marinduque will likewise have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the LPA.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will also experience partly cooudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies.
Additionally, the Ilocos Region and Cordillera Administrative Region will have cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms.
PAGASA has since advised stakeholders to monitor its updates.
