“Forging Valor” is said to go beyond recounting historical events, embodying the identity, values, and legacy of the unit that has inspired generations of Marines since its activation on April 21, 1972.

The publication covers 53 years of honorable service and serves as a tribute to the courage, dedication, and sacrifices of the men and women of MBLT-1, the first and pioneering battalion of the Philippine Marine Corps.

“This publication stands as a testament to the enduring spirit of the Philippine Marine Corps and the vital role that MBLT-1 has played in shaping the nation’s defense landscape,” the PMC said.
