The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) announced that there will be road closures from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday, June 7, to give way for the Jones Bridge lighting ceremony, which is part of the 50th anniversary commemoration of Philippine-China bilateral relations.
The following roads will be closed:

- Magallanes Drive
- Riverside Drive
- Binondo-Intramuros Bridge (Northbound and Southbound lanes)
- Jones Bridge (Northbound and Southbound lanes)
- Q. Paredes (from San Vicente Street to P. Burgos Avenue)
Re-routing of vehicles:
- Vehicles coming from Reina Regente Street, using Juan Luna Street and intending to access the Southbound lane of Jones Bridge, should turn left onto Plaza Lorenzo Ruiz, then turn right onto Noberto Ty Street, turn right onto Yuchengco Street, and finally turn left onto Ongpin Street to reach their destination.
- Those coming from P. Burgos Avenue/Taft Avenue intending to use Jones Bridge should proceed straight to McArthur Bridge or Quezon Bridge to reach their destination.
- Vehicles coming from Plaza Sta. Cruz utilizing Dasmariñas Street should tun right onto Q. Paredes Street to reach their destination.
- Those coming from Juan Luna Street intending to access the Southbound lane of Roxas Boulevard should turn right onto Muelle de Industria, turn right onto Delpan Street, and then take Delpan Ilalim to their destination.
- Vehicles coming from Plaza Cervantes intending to use Jones Bridge should proceed straight to San Vicente Street, then turn left onto Yuchengco Street to their destination.
- Vehicles coming from Muelle dela Industria heading to Binondo-Intramuros Bridge should take Madrid Street, turn right onto San Fernando Street, go to Plaza San Ruiz, then turn left onto Q. Paredes Street, turn right onto Noberto Ty Street, right onto Yuchengco Street, then left onto Ongpin Street.
Alternatively, they can proceed straight and turn left onto the Jones Bridge Service Road leading to Escolta Street to reach their destination.
The MMDA stated that the closing and opening of the affected roads will depend on the actual traffic situation.
