Police emphasized that the incident was isolated and does not reflect the general peace and order situation on the island.

“This does not represent the overall safety environment of Boracay. The island remains a secure destination for both tourists and residents,” Ravelo said.

He also reiterated that the safety and security of all visitors remain the top priority of the Malay police.

The swift police action and assurance come as Boracay continues to welcome thousands of local and foreign tourists daily, with authorities maintaining high visibility and quick response protocols to preserve order on the island.
